A force of evil surrounds him.

Skylar:

"Jessica you'll be okay, just hang on," Unknown voice said. "Take care of them for me please," Jessica replied. Jessica took her last remaining breaths and fell into the darkness

"NO!" Skylar yelled sitting up in his bed. "Another bloody dream" He thought to himself. Well these had actually been nightmares, but not those fictional nightmares normal people had, no, these were events that actually happened. Skylar's mother dying at childbirth. Then every once in awhile Skylar would have a dream about what seemed to be the future a guy in a cloak, this guy seemed like he was evil like looking at death itself, this guy, looked like Skylar. Skylar wasn't certain though he never thought of himsell killing people like the guy in the dream did.

Skylar got out of bed threw on a pair of blue jeans and a white t-shirt and headed out of the dorms. Right as he reached the door Sky stopped, turned around, and went to grab his cloak then headed back outside to the Slytherin Common Room. There he grab a couple of cookies off the table and headed out of the Common Room.

Sneaking his was past a couple of professors, Skylar finally, made it to the Great Hall and then went outside. He took a breath in of the fresh air of the night. He looked up at the sky, no stars, it was rather cloudy and was suggesting rain. Earlier that day, it had poured like none other, then stopped about dinner time.

Skylar headed towards the lake and his normal sitting place, an oddly shaped rock that was right on the opposite side of the lake. Once there, Skylar climbed up on top of it and sat down on top of it with his legs crossed. Sky looked out across the lake put his elbows on his knees and his head in his hands.

A figure covered completely in a black traveling cloak, snuck out of the forbidden forest, a wand out held infront of them to light their way. Claire lowered her wand slightly as she looked about the grounds. "No teachers...good" She muttered to herself as she raised her wand just a bit she just spotted something or someone sitting on a rock not too far away, she decided not to investgate just to head back to the castle before she did actually get caught. Claire took another step or so before she felt something under her shoes break *SNAP* the sound went as she looked down Claire saw that she'd stepped on a twig "Damn" She hissed and ducked behind the nearest tree just incase someone had heard it.

Skylar's head shot up he looked towards where he had thought he heard a noise. No sign of anyone, but he would have sworn he had heard something. He stood up and jumped off the rock. Drawing his wand he headed towards the assumed noise. Skylar could hear his own heart beating rather hardly at this point, why? He was not sure, but it was beating extremely hard. As he got closer and closer he sensed another presence. "Hello," Skylar said in his strongest most reassuring voice.

Claire prayed that no one had heard the noise. 'Please god dont....' she started praying then she heard footsteps coming closer and closer, Her heart started to race extermaly fast 'Damn Damn damn!' She thought as she looked about there was no where to go and she didnt wanna give herself up incase it was a prefect or a teacher. Letting out a deep sigh she made up her mind and simply stepped out into full view, though her face was still covered Claire held her wand up to get a better look at this person. "You're not a teacher or a prefect" She stated to the boy infront of her.

"AHHH!" Skylar yelled putting his arm up blocking the light from the girl's wand. "Put your wand down would you. No I'm not a prefect nor professor, tell me why I shouldn't cast a spell on someone who just walks out of the forbidden forest at a time like this." Skyler said looking at the girl. After letting his eyes focused he took a gulp realizing what a beautiful creature stood in front of him. "Please put your wand down."

Claire let out a small laugh as she muttered "Nox" the light of her wand vanished. "Tell me, Why I shouldnt hex someone thats out this late on the grounds" Claire replied lightly as she bought her wand down to her side, then with her other hand lowered her hood all the way so her beautiful long brown hair flowed over her shoulders. Claire studied the boy for a few moments with her pretty bright blue eyes "I dont think I've seen you around before" She said after a few moments then thought 'I'd remember if I had'

Skylar laughed alittle at this girl. "I believe I asked the question first my dear and no you more than likely have never seen me around hogwarts." Sky finished putting his wand down to his side. "Anyways, I'm Skylar you can call me sky." He said sticking a hand out. "So I'll repeat, what is a beautiful girl doing coming out of the forbidden forest at this time." Skylar repeated himself with a smirk on his face.

Claire shook his hand light while purposely neglecting to give her name 'Smooth talker' She thought to herself as a smile appeared on her lush rosey coloured lips. Claire let her hand drop to her side gently while she was studying Skylar as she replied
"I was just...vistiting some of the wonderful creatures that only come out at night" she said lightly.

Skylar started to walk around this girl looking up and down at this girl. "So secret woman, do you happen to have a name?" Skylar said looking at the girl's complete cloak trying to envision what was on the other side. Skylar after, making a complete 360 degree circle around this girl, decided to sit down at the bottom of a tree nearby facing the girl.

Claire eyes followed Skylar as he walked around her, she laughed slightly after her was finished "Quiet happy with what you see, Skylar?" She joked with him as she watched Skylar sit under the tree just infront of her "and yes, I have a name......Not sure if I want to tell you it though" Claire added with her own smirk as she seated herself infront of Skylar, just out of his reach just incase. xD Claire twirled her wand around her fingers as she spoke.

Skylar didn't have a clue what this girl was talking about with happy with what he saw. "I'm sorry I don't have any clue of what you are talking about." Skylar pulled his knees up to his chest. "Why would you be afraid of telling me your name?" Skylar asked this mysterious girl. Sky eyeballed this girl's wand, "Do you mind you know putting that away?"

Claire glanced at the wand she’d been twirling in her right hand. “Oh sorry” She replied lightly as she placed it down beside her, Claire was taught to always have her wand close by just incase “Some reason it always makes people nervous when I do that” pausing for a moment or two while her eyes wandered to look about the grounds a bit then she spoke again “I’m not afraid of giving you my name” Claire said with a small smile across her lips again “I’m Claire” she added gently

"So, Claire," Skylar said deciding to lay down next to the tree, looking up at the sky through some of the trees. "I can completely understand , why people would get nervous about you spinning around something that throws out sparks." Sky said with a bit of a laugh and turned his head towards Claire. "Don't hate me, okay." Sky said.

"Never thought about it like that, But then again the sparks can cause no harm" Claire admitted to Skylar about the wand while unbuttoning her traveling cloak to reveal what she was wearing under it, a tight black pair of jeans, a white singlet top that showed threw a bit of undone zipper of a baby blue jacket as she leant back a bit and propped herself up on her elbows. hearing Sky's last comment she frowned slightly and gazed back at him before asking"why would I hate you?, I dont know you"

Skylar thought about it awhile and realized that what he said was kind of out of the ordinary. "Well I don't know, forget about it." Sky said keeping his eye on Claire. "So, Claire, what house are you in?" Skylar asked searching for some sort of conversation.

Claire gazed up at the starry night for a few moments before returning her gaze back to Skylar. "I'm a proud Ravenclaw" she replied with a smile across her lips, then she asked " how about you sir, What house would you happen to be in?"

Skylar looked away a bit. "Well I'm in Slytherin," Skylar said as he blinked a couple times before looking back at Claire. "However, I am not like most Slytherins, everyone expected me to be in Gryffindor, though I hear I have some different fate, that bugs me." Skylar said then took a deep breath. "So got anything about your family?" Skylar asked.

Claire smile grew slightly wider. "Well Skylar, I'm one of those gals that doesn't judge people why what house they are in, but on what is inside their heart". Claire truthfully replied as she returned to looking up at the sky "As for my family their just typical wizarding folk, nothing too interesting at all"

Every minute that Skylar listened to Claire the more and more he got interested in the beautiful girl the was there in his presence. "I see, so is there anything interesting about yourself, you'd like to tell?" Skylar asked as he worked himself back up to his feet and stood there looking down at Claire and put his hand out as if to offer to help her get up.

Claire laughed slightly as she picked her wand up with her left then took Skylar's hand with her right to help herself up. "Thanks for that". Claire said to Sky "And to answer your question...No there's nothing interesting about little old me, I'm just a Magical creature, Quidditch and fun loving gal that can chat your ear off if I had a chance" she dusted herself off for a moment then smiled at Sky "Enough about me, what about you?"

'I'm a wizard, what else can I say." Skylar said. He turned his back to Claire and took a couple of steps forward he swallowed holding back some tears, he had tried to hide him missing his mother and father, but he was on his own now, so he had to be strong. He turned back around to face Claire. "Sorry about that," Skylar choked through the words. "Let's go for a walk," He said as he headed off towards the lake.

Claire nodded and followed Skylar, she wandered if she should asked what was wrong but then again Claire didn't want to seem nosey 'I'll ask when I know him better' She thought. "Umm...so" Claire said gently as she caught up to Sky "You never did say why you were out here so late"

Skylar took a look at Claire then back at the ground, he decided he could tell her the truth. "Nightmare," Skylar said. "An all too familiar nightmare," Skylar continued.

"A nightmare?" Claire repeated softly to herself, then gently placed a hand on Skylars shoulders then warmly spoke to him as she moved to stand in his path "Nightmares are nothing to be ashamed of" she assured him

"Well, this wasn't a normal fictional nightmare that people like you have, this nightmare is the truth," Skylar said, beginning to realize how open he was becoming with Claire he stopped in his steps. Then looked at Claire. "I'm sorry, we should stop talking about this," He said then continued walking looking back down at the ground.
